Operational Policy

  • The first operational policy of Olutola Lapite Education Foundation is to award 20 annual University Scholarships to brilliant students on the basis of their performance in J.A.M.B and U.T.M.E exams.
  • Applicants for OLEF Scholarship will complete an Application Form to be duly submitted with a brief essay about his/her family background.
  • The average age of eligible OLEF Scholars must not exceed 22 years and should be a Nigerian from any part of the country i.e 36 States and FCT.
  • The Scholar must possess excellent JAMB University admission from either Federal or State University in Social Science or Science Course.
  • Admitted Scholars will be eligible to enjoy free tuition education from the 1st year till the final year on at least 3.50 G.P.A Score.
  • However, if a Scholar’s GPA falls below 3.50 in the first year, the scholar will be advised to withdraw. On the other hand, scholars whose GPA score is 3.70 and above after their first year in the University will be eligible to receive monthly allowance of ₦30,000 until the final year of their University Education.
  • OLEF Scholar’s Tuition Fees of award will be paid directly by OLEF to the institution of learning of the recipient.
  • During the application process, applicants consent to OLEF obtaining their academic results directly from their University for proper monitoring of academic progress. Needless to state that apart from high academic excellence, award recipients are expected to possess high moral behaviour and any negative report to the contrary will automatically lead to the forfeiture of the awardee’s scholarship.
  • It is prerogative of OLEF Scholarship Selection Committee to shortlist qualified applicants after appropriate interviews and reviews for onward submission to the Chairman for final approval and necessary disbursements.
  • OLEF reserves the right to carry out multilevel verification on information supplied by the applicants/awardees notably: personal history, academic records and family background checks etc.
Who Can Apply
  • A Nigerian from any of the 36 States or the FCT.
  • Aged 22 years or below.
  • Admitted into a Federal or State University.
  • Studying a Science or Social Science course.
  • Strong J.A.M.B / U.T.M.E performance.
